Biography: As a certified DreamBuilder coach, Susannah seeks to assist her kindred spirits in defining and following their bliss to live the life of their dreams, an ongoing and educational journey she herself was encouraged to embark upon from an early age by her adventurous parents. Raised in Denmark, Kenya and Zimbabwe, Susannah West Cord is a lifelong horsewoman, traveler, life coach, speaker and writer now living in the USA.

For over twenty years, Susannah devoted herself to serving fellow seekers wishing to achieve a healthy and mutually beneficial relationship with their horses, while enjoying the fruits of a systematic training program focused on the physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing of horse and rider. In the process, Susannah developed a personal and holistic approach to the horse-human relationship mirrored by the evocative coaching style of DreamBuilder Life Coaching, a profession Susannah found to be a natural fit and outgrowth of her previous experiences.

Also a certified Infinite Possibilities Trainer (as per Mike Dooley), Susannah has sought spiritual growth and learning since her teens when she first read Illusions by Richard Bach, going on to study the teachings of a wide range of teachers from all walks of the spiritual life, including Dr. Wayne Dyer, Marianne Williamson, Ramtha, Deepak Chopra, and Caroline Myss, to mention but a few. Susannah is the author of multiple critically acclaimed books, including her memoir, Each Wind That Blows; and illustrated children’s book, Fenella - A Fable of a Fairy Afraid to Fly; as well as the blogs, The Torchlight Travel Blog and The Torchlight Chronicles.

Susannah was a longtime contributor to online global publication, Horses For LIFE Magazine, with her philosophical column, Riding By Torchlight, as well as staff writer at luxury travel and lifestyle magazine, Art Chateau. When not writing or traveling, Susannah can be found training horses, speaking, coaching, teaching workshops and enjoying photography in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, where she pursues her passion for Classical Horsemanship, life, travel and all good things in between.
